The country with the highest rate of suicide is Poland. The reason why Polish people tend to commit suicide is not very clear, but it remains a fact that every 16.6 people out of 100,000 people in the country commit suicide here. The disturbing point is that most people don't ever leave suicide notes, so it becomes quite difficult to determine the reason for the suicide.
People taking their lives are classified into five kinds.
1. Those who kill themselves with drugs.
2. Polish men and women who kill themselves using firearms
3. Those men and women who take the last step in life by hanging themselves from a noose.
4. Those who kill themselves using sharp instruments.
5. Nazis who killed themselves while in Poland.
The incidence of suicide among Polish nationals is seen to be more than the number of people killed every year in road traffic accidents.
But some changes in the trend are expected with the boost in Polish economy in 2015. Polish GDP has gone over $24,000.
A change seems to be setting into the society as more than 80 per cent of Poles appear to be satisfied with their lives. There has been a spurt in the growth rate of Poland, and this spurt has been supplemented by the mindset behind the Polish population. A lot of hard work has contributed to the results, which are not based merely on abundant natural resources.
Free press and democracy are believed to be behind this economic miracle seen in modern Poland. They seem to be behind every pillar of robust social institution seen in Poland.
