The Declaration Of Independence

Much has been said about the Declaration Of Independence. These rumors range from false signatures to false documents. However, true history does not lie, especially when historians dig as deep as possible.

There are some things concerning the declaration that people cannot debate no matter what. The first thing is that this document was created in the year 1776, and some of the biggest names in American history were present.

The next thing that cannot be debated is that this declaration gave freedom to all people. This is true based on the fact that America still lives according to this rule today. All people are free no matter what.

Another thing used in America today that comes from the declaration are the tax laws. It is stated in the declaration that people cannot be taxed for the basis of government salaries. These taxes must have weight to them and must be passed by a group of individuals before going into effect. They also needed to show how the government and the people would both benefit from the tax.

There is one additional thing in the declaration that is used in America today, and that is the freedom to elect people into office. The main reason for the declaration was so that people no longer have to live under the rule of the king of Britain. A bloodline would no longer govern the people. Now, the people will choose who gets to be put into office. Many Americans and historians alike believe this is the best document ever created in American history because this document changed America the most.
